General Shopify Theme Documentation

We offer lots of Shopify themes on theme ocean. You will find all our themes to be user-friendly and easy to use! With that being said we offering a Shopify theme documentation to help guide beginners.


So let's get started:


Begin by installing the Shopify theme you received from delivery. Take the original ZIP file and upload it into your Shopify theme.


SHOPIFY THEME INSTALLATION

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin: Go to your Shopify admin and log in to your account.

  2. Navigate to the themes section: From your Shopify admin, navigate to Online Store > Themes.

  3. Click on "Upload Theme": Click on the "Upload Theme" button in the top right corner.

  4. Select the theme files: Select the theme files that you downloaded earlier and click on "Upload".

  5. Activate the theme: Once the theme is uploaded, click on "Actions" and select "Publish".

  6. Customize the theme: Now that the theme is installed, you can customize it to suit your needs. Go to "Customize Theme" to make changes to the theme's settings, sections, and blocks.

SHOPIFY THEME CUSTOMIZATION

  1. Navigate to the Themes Section: Log in to your Shopify admin and navigate to Online Store > Themes.

  2. Select the Theme: Select the theme that you want to customize.

  3. Access the Theme Editor: Once you have selected the theme, click on the "Customize" button to access the Theme Editor.

  4. Customize Theme Settings: Use the Theme Editor to customize the various settings of your theme. This may include things like typography, colors, layout, and more.

  5. Customize Theme Sections: The Theme Editor will allow you to customize the various sections of your theme. These may include the header, footer, product pages, and more.

  6. Add or Edit Content: Use the Theme Editor to add or edit content on your website. This may include text, images, videos, and more.

  7. Test Your Changes: Once you have made changes to your theme, be sure to test them thoroughly to ensure that they work correctly and look good.

  8. Publish Your Changes: Once you are happy with your changes, click on the "Save" button to publish your changes.

  9. View Your Customized Theme: Finally, view your customized theme by visiting your website and making sure that everything looks and works as expected.
